A smoking ban in Gladstone?

Project background

How can — or should — Gladstone, Mo., address smoking in public areas? This project is focused on providing pertinent information to Gladstone residents and engaging them in a discussion that will collect feedback on the idea of a city-wide smoking ban.

Process

One KC Voice will conduct three community events in Gladstone to:

1. Provide residents with information about smoking bans and their impacts from a variety of sources
2. Assess residents' feelings about a potential city-wide smoking ban
3. Share the feedback it has compiled from the process

A final report will be written and presented to the Gladstone City Council and the public on Nov. 5.
