Severe winter weather in St. Louis

"I remember [there was] a big ice storm in the winter of 1991. I went sledding on New Year's Eve and lost control ... hitting a metal pole. Earthquake in Seattle

"The ground started shaking around 11 a.m. It was gentle at first ... then it got worse. The hanging lights began to swing back and forth several feet in each direction. The building swayed ... After 45 seconds, it was over ... it could have been so much worse."
